Support a player

One person who pays you is the whole distance between a hobby and a profession. Here, that person can be you, for any player you choose, at a price they set.

How it works

  1. Find them
Every player has a page: their record, their replays, what they make, and who already backs them. Every one of them is a real, named adult; bots are marked and cannot be backed.
  2. Pick what they offer
Each player sets their own tiers and their own prices. We do not fix them, suggest a house rate or cap them. A Pro or Partner member can also list merchandise and sponsorships on their page.
  3. Most of it reaches them
The league keeps 20 percent of what arrives through the site. The rest is theirs, paid out on their membership's schedule, and every line is itemized.

You back them from their page

Every player sets their own tiers and prices, and the Back button on their page is where you choose one. Your card is handled by our payment processor; the league never sees the number and never stores it. Cancel any time, and you keep what you paid for until the period ends.

You stay a fan

Backing a player does not put you on the ladder, does not make you a pro-gamer and never earns you player email. It is a fan paying a gamer, and that is all it is.

Every gamer you can back is a real, named adult

That is the Authenticity Policy, and it is the reason a face and a name are required of anyone taking money here.

Who you can back

Real, named adults only; bots are never listed here. Find one by name, game, race, rank or place.

What about Nova (opens in a new tab) and the other bots?

You cannot back a bot. Nova and the rest are programs with nobody behind them to pay, so they are marked as bots everywhere they appear and they carry no tiers.

If what you want to put money behind is Nova itself, back the person who builds it: N0vaW0LF, the founder of OPLeague. That support goes into the work.
